Rules & Regulations
I Play is governed by the most current Rules of Golf of the United States Golf Association and where applicable, by local rules, conditions and definitions.
II Format

36 holes stroke play (GROSS SCORES)

Divisions: Ladies, Men’s and Mens Senior.

*Ladies Division Tees: (Red Tees)

*Mens Division Tees: (59 & Under White Tees)*

*Mens Senior Division will include Seniors (60 – 69 Gold Tees) & Super Seniors (70+ Red Tees)*

Flights: The flights will be determined based on the number of participants and scores following play on day 1.
III TOURNAMENT RULES

Bunkers are in play but are being played as rake and place within one scorecard length.

The leaf rule is in effect, if a ball is agreed to be lost in a leafy area by the group then the player may proceed under free relief where the group deems the ball would be.

All no mow areas will be played as a penalty area.

Stroke-and-Distance Relief: You may act under stroke and distance and re-tee or you may proceed under the local rule that for a 2 stroke penalty you may do the following: First, the group must agree where your ball went out of bounds or is likely to be lost. Then, find the nearest fairway edge and go two club lengths into the fairway. Lastly, drop your ball in a relief area between the two points defined above.

Lift clean and place through the green within one scorecard length.

Rule: 3-3 in stroke play, if a competitor is doubtful of his rights or the correct procedure during the play of a hole, he may, without penalty, complete the hole with two balls. In these circumstances, before taking any further action, the correct procedure for the competitor is to.
a) Announce to their marker, or fellow-competitor, that they intends to play two balls
b) Declare which ball they wish to card if the Rules permit.
c) Play out the hole with both balls recording the separate scores

All ties in exception for the mens, ladies and senior club champion will be decided by a scorecard playoff. The sudden death playoff for champion flights holes will be holes 18 – 18 – 9 – 18 – 9 – 18.

11-12-13 Stoke Rule – one of those numbers will be drawn from a hat. That number will be the number of strokes that a competitor is allowed to improve from round 1 to round 2 before being bumped to a lower flight.

The Committee may, by Local Rule, permit the use of devices that measure distance only (i.e., the device may not be used to measure other conditions such as wind-speed or the slope of the ground). (Rule 14-3 Note and Decision 14-3/0.5)

The ONE Ball rule is not in effect.
IIII LOCAL RULES

The local rule for relief from rocks and roots is in effect. The striking of the ball must be impeded by the rock or root in question not the stance.

The nearest edge of the road in reference to the hole of play will define the boundary line of Out of Bounds.

The edge of the pavement beyond Hole #9 green will define the boundary of Out of bounds.

The retaining wall and pavilion retaining wall along the right hand side of Hole #18 will define the boundary of out of bounds.

The penalty areas on holes #1, #2, #4, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #15, #16 and #17 boundary line will be defined by the high grass if in fact the Red or Yellow stakes aren’t present.

The drainage areas along the right side of holes #1 & #2 from tee to green are considered as ground under repair and are deemed free relief.

Drainage hole on the left side rough approximately 50 yards from the green on #6 is considered as ground under repair and deemed free relief

Drainage hole on the left side next to the cart path approximately 100 yards from the green on #16 is considered as ground under repair and deemed free relief.

All weather shelters are deemed as free relief in the instance there is interference with the golf swing not line of sight.

All cart paths and maintenance roads are deemed as free relief.
